Platoniq
is a non-profit organization formed by cultural producers and software developers based in Barcelona since 2001. The group aims to enhance and to spread the training, dissemination, production, study and research of cultural activities related to new technologies. Platoniq's work researches into the social uses of technology and networking by seeking strategies to generate new forms of communication as well as new types of training, cultural production and citizen organization. Platoniq's projects create innovative platforms and methodologies for collaborative research, in addition to an extensive free-licensed audiovisual archive on the Internet.
Rosa Luxemburg Foundation
The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation is actively involved in political education throughout the Federal Republic of Germany. It considers itself part of the political movement for democratic socialism. The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation has its origins in the association "Social Analysis and Political Education", founded in Berlin in 1990. It became a provider of political education, a discussion forum for critical thinking and political alternatives, and a centre for progressive social thinking and research both in Germany and throughout the world.
